Fangirl Friday: Jensen Ackles

They say there is no such thing as a perfect person. I disagree. There exists one man who is the embodiment of perfection. That one man is Jensen Ackles. Don't believe me? Well, for this fangirl Friday, I am here to prove to you that Jensen Ackles is the world's most perfect man. Though, I will concede to the fact that there are, in actuality, several perfect men out there. But, Jensen is definitely one of them. He's got it all, the whole package. Looks, talent, personality, everything. Keep reading after the jump to watch me go into full on fangirl meltdown. Or, as some of my friends call it, a full-on Jensen Situation. Yes, we have a term for reveling in his perfection.

First, a little background info on Jensen. He was born and raised in Texas. He's the middle child. He is married to Danneel Harris and they have one daughter, JJ, who's 18 months old. Now, are you ready to behold perfection? Here it comes....

Obviously this is what drew me to him in the first place. So, let's get this reason for adoring him out of the way first. Jensen is like a fine wine. He gets better with age. I don't think I really need any further explanation. I'm going to let his magnificence speak for itself.

1/50 Jensen Ackles
No Jensen. Stop being so perfect. Oh sweet lord…

I.....may have gotten carried away. But, really, can you blame me?

In addition to be really, really ridiculously good looking, Jensen is immensely talented as well. He got his start on Days of Our Lives and then continued on to myriad other TV shows and movies. Then, he landed the leading role of Dean Winchester on Supernatural. Since then, he has continued to grow as an actor. I'm going to let some clips do the talking. Spoilers for Supernatural ahead!

This clip is just absolutely heartbreaking. I couldn't even watch the whole thing. It was too painful to relive.
This is from a movie Jensen did called Ten Inch Hero. I just wanted to show a bit of his comedic side. Since we don't get to see that on Supernatural hardly ever.
This is a promo of this season's third episode. I wish I could have found a clip of the whole "chase" scene in this promo. I've never been more scared and turned on in my life.

What's even more remarkable about that episode, is that Jensen directed it as well. He's directed four episodes of the show and they are all really fantastic episodes, Weekend at Bobby's especially.

In addition to being a very talented actor and director, he's also a very good singer as well. Though he denies that vehemently. I'll let you decide for yourselves.

Jensen can come off a little grumpy. But, he is actually a warm, loving, humble, goofy, and hilarious man. I believe that he is a bit of an introvert and so, in the early years of his fame, he was uncomfortable with his popularity and it came off as grumpy or standoffish. But, as time went on, he became more comfortable interacting with fans and his real personality began to shine through. And now, that he has both a Twitter and a Facebook, we are really getting to see his awesome personality more and more.

Epic Friendship with Jared Padalecki
One of the other reasons I love Jensen so much is his amazing friendship with co-star, Jared Padalecki. Actually, they don't even consider the other a friend. They are brothers. They both recently purchased homes in Austin, Texas less than half a mile apart. The reasoning? When the show is over, they will still be near each other and can raise their families together. They lived together in the early days of the show. They celebrate holidays together with their extended families. They are as close as two people can be. They even dress alike (and/or possibly share clothes). It's an amazing thing to witness.

This is the best GIF ever.
While Jensen also has a very close relationship with their other co-star, Misha Collins, he and Jared have ten years of friendship behind them. It's hard to touch that.

Supernatural doesn't have a fandom. It has a family. Obviously, we have our problems. But, Jensen has been nothing but grateful to the fans over the years. And, that is just another one of the things I love about him.
You guys protect us, you save us from the critics, keep us on air, you’re the driving force behind what we do; so thank you.
